SHAPE UP

Full Scholarships and

Monthly Allowances

At Francis Restaurant School (FRS), we are committed to providing educational opportunities to all young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The FRS Full Scholarship Program is designed to help students overcome financial barriers, allowing them to focus fully on their studies and develop a career in the hospitality industry.

1. Full Scholarship

The full scholarship at FRS is designed for students with special circumstances, young individuals with dreams of pursuing a career in the restaurant and hotel industry but who face financial challenges. The scholarship includes:

  • Full Tuition Coverage: Scholarship recipients are exempt from all tuition fees throughout the 3-year training program at FRS, ensuring they can fully focus on their studies without financial worries.

  • Practical Training Fees: Students are also exempt from all costs related to practical training in the kitchen, simulated restaurant, and internship facilities.

  • Materials and Uniform Costs: All study materials and professional uniforms (chef and restaurant staff uniforms, etc.) are provided by the school at no cost.

2. Monthly Allowance

In addition to full tuition coverage, FRS provides a monthly allowance to support students with basic living expenses. This policy is especially helpful for students from remote areas or those facing financial difficulties.

  • Allowance Amount: Scholarship students receive a monthly stipend to help cover expenses such as food, transportation, and personal needs.

  • Free Dormitory: Students are accommodated in the school’s modern dormitory, eliminating housing costs. The dormitory is fully equipped and secure, providing a comfortable environment for students to focus on their studies.

  • Meal Support: Some meals are provided free or at a reduced cost in the school cafeteria, ensuring students have proper nutrition and health.

3. Scholarship Eligibility

To qualify for the full scholarship at FRS, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Financial Hardship: Students must provide proof of hardship, including a certificate of low income, near-poverty status, orphan status, or other documents validating special circumstances.

  • Passion and Commitment: Students must demonstrate a passion for the restaurant and hotel industry and a commitment to learning and personal development to succeed in their careers.

  • Good Academic Performance: Applicants must have a fair to good academic record in previous education levels, showcasing their learning ability and potential for growth in the field.
